Sobriquet 27.4: Gunter Grass Admits SS Past

An interesting bit of news has been circulating around the internet regarding Nobel Prize-winning novelist Gunter Grass. Grass has evidentially admitted to having been a member of Hitler's notorious SS in an interview with a German newspaper. What implications the novelist's admission may have on his career are still up in the air but, at the outset, it seems his detractors have a much louder voice than do his supporters.
