I've spent the past two days in Chattanooga, Tennessee -- and it has been wonderful. I took in a few of the city's tourist attractions, including the Tennessee Aquarium, Rock City, and Ruby Falls, and have really enjoyed the full-leafed trees, warm days, and sunny skies. This year, New York State's winter seems to have lingered a bit longer than in recent years and I saw snow as recently as last week. The seemingly endless string of bleak, gray days that have made up this year's Southern Tier winter made coming to such a lush, green city as Chattanooga that much more invigorating. This little trip, though not taken for recreational purposes, has really been just what the doctor ordered.
I just wish it could be a little longer.
